Pokemon TCG: Black Bolt Standard Edition (Japanese)

Black Bolt is an upcoming expansion in the Pokémon Trading Card Game (TCG), officially titled Scarlet & Violet—Black Bolt. Slated for release in July–August 2025, this set will spotlight the Unova region, featuring all 156 Pokémon originally discovered there, including iconic creatures like Zekrom, Reshiram, and Snivy.

 What to Expect from Black Bolt

• Unova Pokémon Showcase: The set will include every Pokémon from the Unova region, each receiving special illustration variants, such as Illustration Rares (IRs) and Special Illustration Rares (SIRs). 

• New Rarity – BWR: A notable addition is the Black White Rare (BWR) rarity, featuring unique foil patterns and artwork, enhancing the collectibility of the set. 

• Featured Pokémon: Key cards will include Zekrom ex, Meloetta ex, and Serperior ex, among others, offering both nostalgic appeal and competitive potential.
